Richter sight glasses enable reliable visual inspection of media in pipes, vessels and near pumps. As industrial sight glasses for chemical and process applications, they make flow, colour, condition and gas content directly visible and help operators assess processes quickly and reliably.
As flow sight glass fittings, they are particularly suitable wherever media need to be observed during operation and high corrosion resistance is required.
With PFA and PTFE lining, the sight glasses are designed for applications where stainless steel is not sufficiently corrosion-resistant. Depending on design and material, applications from vacuum to 16 bar (232 psig) and from -60 °C to +180 °C (-80 °F to +360 °F) are possible. For the SGS series, the limits are 6 bar (87 psig) and 150 °C (+300 °F).
